Boat Yards

At the end of the summer season many boat owners will opt to take their boats out of the water for the winter. In Corfu this can be done either at the marina or at the many boat yards situated at Mandouki. If your boat is permanently at the marina then it is logical to have it taken out of the water there. If however you only wish for it to be out of the water during winter then it is worth while getting prices from the boat yards. One may also consider taking the boat out if the water at Preveza (mainland Greece) as the prices and facilities are excellent. For boats being left in the water, the marina is excellent but one might consider Gaios (Paxos). There are buoys and boatman to keep an eye open during the winter. Obviously, the price is cheaper at Gaios. In your travels look to see which facility suits your preference and pocket.
